Basketball Game Preview: Dixon Dukes & Duchesses vs. Boylan Catholic Titans

The Dixon Dukes & Duchesses will take on the Boylan Catholic Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Dixon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 58-28 win over Belvidere. The Dukes & Duchesses have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 23 points or more this season.

Freeport typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Boylan Catholic proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 55-47 victory over the Pretzels. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Dixon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record this season. As for Boylan Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 19-13.
