Baseball Recap: Upper Darby Takes a Loss

Upper Darby fell victim to Garnet Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Jaguars. The Royals just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Upper Darby saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Albert MacMichael, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Upper Darby now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Garnet Valley, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Upper Darby is set to challenge their familiar foe Haverford at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Garnet Valley will square off against rival Conestoga at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Garnet Valley's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Conestoga has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
