Volleyball Recap: Winfield Extends Home Winning Streak to 13

There's no place like home for Winfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lincoln County Panthers by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on September 4th.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Winfield was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-12.

Brooklyn Cole paced Winfield's offense, picking up eight kills. Cole got some help from Macee Shock and her 11 assists.

Winfield pushed their record up to 17-6-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Lincoln County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Winfield and Lincoln County will both be playing Herbert Hoover the next time they take the court. The Generals will host the Huskies at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
