Soccer Recap: Wayne County Takes a Loss

Wayne County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Loretto Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Loretto this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss last Friday.

Wayne County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Loretto, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Wayne County will square off against rival Culleoka at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Loretto is set to face off against their familiar foe Richland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
