Eastland waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They took down the Dakota Indians 55-39. 55 seems to be a good number for the Cougars as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Eastland's victory bumped their record up to 31-4. As for Dakota, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 27-6.

Looking ahead, Eastland will take on Pecatonica at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pecatonica knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Eastland likes a good challenge. Dakota does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
