Basketball Recap: Kilgore Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Kilgore, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 39-34 victory over the Gilmer Buckeyes on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Buckeyes back in January, they had to take a 52-49 loss.

Kilgore's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-13. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.9 points over those games. As for Gilmer, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-14.
