Cypress Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Kelly Catholic Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory on October 7th.

Cypress Christian was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-18.

BRYNN SITTA paced Cypress Christian's offense, picking up 14 kills. SITTA got some help from LILAH JOHNSON and her 11 assists. JOHNSON was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

When it comes to explaining why Kelly Catholic lost, don't look at Abigail Brown. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs, eight kills, and one block. Brown has been hot recently, having posted eight or more kills the last three times she's played. M'Kayla Walker was another key player, getting ten digs.

Cypress Christian's win bumped their record up to 21-13-1. As for Kelly Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-18 record this season.

Cypress Christian will host Legacy Prep Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kelly Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
