Basketball Recap: Apache Junction Takes a Loss

Apache Junction lost against Payson back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Prospectors were outmatched by the Longhorns and fell 72-37. The defeat leaves the Prospectors still looking for their first win of the season.

Apache Junction's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Payson, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Apache Junction will take on Miami at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Payson, they will face off against ALA - Ironwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
