Softball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland lost against Rio Grande back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hornets came up short against the Ravens, falling 18-3. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Highland's record is now 2-15. As for Rio Grande, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-9 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Ravens beat Highland by a score of 22-4 later that day.
