Baseball Recap: Raceland Makes It 11 in a Row at Home

Raceland entered their tilt with Fairland on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Dragons 11-0. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by ten runs or more this season.

Kadin Shore was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Pennington, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Shore wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Raceland lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Raceland pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 8.3 runs this season. As for Fairland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Raceland will be playing in front of their home fans against Blazer at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fairland, they will head out to challenge Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
