Softball Recap: John Hardin Bulldogs vs. Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers
John Hardin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 21-9 walloping at the hands of the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to John Hardin of the 11-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2017.
For Breckinridge County's part, Taylor O?Reilly was incredible, scoring five runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlyn White, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.
John Hardin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Breckinridge County, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
John Hardin will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Bullitt Central at 6:00 p.m. As for Breckinridge County, they will head out on the road to take on North Hardin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
