Basketball Recap: Lake Country Christian Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Lake Country Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They strolled past the Temple Christian Eagles with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 55-37. Lake Country Christian has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Temple Christian, too.

Temple Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grant Walker, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. Walker is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played. Jeremiah Thirdkill was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 18 rebounds.

Lake Country Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Temple Christian, they moved to 7-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Lake Country Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-66 loss against Liberty Christian on the 21st. As for Temple Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 69-44 win against Trinity Valley on the 20th.
