Volleyball Game Preview: Northern Garrett Huskies vs. Hancock Panthers + How To Watch

Northern Garrett is a perfect 6-0 against Hancock since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Huskies will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Northern Garrett has ten straight victories, Hancock has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

If Keyser wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Northern Garrett, they should've done a better job of containing Violet Taylor. The Huskies put the hurt on the Golden Tornado with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday thanks in part to Taylor, who had 15 digs and two assists. She has been hot, having posted 14 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Northern Garrett not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Keyser between 13 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Hancock came up short against Southern Fulton on Monday and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-12, 17-25, 25-21, 25-14.

Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Northern Garrett, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.

Everything went Northern Garrett's way against Hancock in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Northern Garrett made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
