Basketball Recap: Dracut Takes a Loss

Dracut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 75-54 to the Lowell Red Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Middies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while the Red Raiders are ranked 11th).

Dracut's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Lowell, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dracut will take on Tewksbury Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lowell, they will face off against North Andover at 6:30 p.m. on February 11th.
