            For the second straight game, Diamond Ranch will face off against Don Lugo. The Panthers will head out to  square off against the Conquistadores  at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. Diamond Ranch is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last five games.
Diamond Ranch will bounce into Friday's   matchup after  beating Don Lugo, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Panthers came out on top against the Conquistadores by a score of  6-1  on Wednesday.

 Izel Avalos made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out eight batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases and one  run. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last five games she's  played.
 In other batting news,  Elena Rodriguez and  Liset Renteria did most of the damage at the plate:  Rodriguez  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs, while  Renteria  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Diamond Ranch's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-8. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Don Lugo, their defeat  ended  a  13-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 15-4-1.
