Volleyball Recap: Sterling Comes Up Short

Sterling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Johnson-Brock Eagles, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jets of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-7, 25-13.

Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 1-24. As for Johnson-Brock, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Sterling has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Sacred Heart on the 27th. As for Johnson-Brock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Nebraska Christian on the 27th.
