Soccer Recap: Solanco Comes Up Short

Solanco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Pequea Valley Braves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Solanco of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Solanco's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Pequea Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Solanco will square off against Lancaster Country Day at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lancaster Country Day's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Solanco's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Pequea Valley, they will venture away from home to face off against Lancaster Mennonite at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
