Softball Game Preview: Spring-Ford Rams vs. Conestoga Pioneers

The Spring-Ford Rams will venture away from home to square off against the Conestoga Pioneers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spring-Ford's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Conestoga's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Spring-Ford is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Methacton just ended the team's three-game winning streak on May 7th. They fell 7-4 to the Warriors.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, Conestoga was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell just short of Perkiomen Valley by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Pioneers have suffered since March 13th.

Conestoga's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5. As for Spring-Ford, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
