Softball Recap: Huss Huskies vs. North Gaston Wildcats

Sadly, Huss is still looking for their first win of the season after ten contests. Their tough 12-1 loss to the North Gaston Wildcats on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Huss of the 22-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.

Huss saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Gunn, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

On North Gaston's side, Parker Gordon was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned run or hits. Gordon was also big at the plate, scoring a run.

As for North Gaston, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Ashbrook at 5:00 p.m. North Gaston is facing Ashbrook at the right time seeing as Ashbrook is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
