Volleyball Recap: Red Rock Comes Up Short

Red Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Williams Vikings.

While Red Rock was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Williams' winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20, 25-22.

Leading Williams to victory were Kenzie Orozco and Audrina Baldwin. Orozco had 22 digs, while Baldwin had 13 digs. That's the most digs Orozco has posted over her last nine matches.

Red Rock's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Williams, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Red Rock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Anthem Prep on the 25th. Williams has also already played their next matchup (against Fredonia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
