Recap: Texhoma Red Devils vs. Cheyenne/Reydon Bears
After some red-hot offensive attacks in their last six contests, the Texhoma Red Devils finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 52-25 loss at the hands of Cheyenne/Reydon. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Texhoma has scored all season.
Cheyenne/Reydon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ella Powers, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds. Kynli Carlson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.
Texhoma's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Cheyenne/Reydon, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.
Texhoma will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Felt at 6:30 p.m. Cheyenne/Reydon won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Seiling at 3:20 p.m. on January 19th. Seiling is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
