West Broward has gone 7-0 against Piper recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The West Broward Bobcats will host the Piper Bengals at 4:00 p.m.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, West Broward turned things around against Plantation on Thursday. They and the Colonels finished up their game with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Bobcats have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Kayan De Jesus was the only thing that stood between West Broward and a shutout considering he scored both of West Broward's goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.

Meanwhile, Piper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Coconut Creek. While losing is never fun, the Bengals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 485th, while the Cougars are ranked 147th).

Piper's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12-1. West Broward's draw gives them a new season record of 4-9-2.

Everything went West Broward's way against Piper when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as West Broward made off with a 4-0 win. Will West Broward repeat their success, or does Piper have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
