It was a good run, but Thompson Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Berthoud Spartans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered since August 28th.

Thompson Valley was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 25-22.

Brier Jensen paced Thompson Valley's offense, picking up ten kills. Jensen got some help from Dany Alps and her 16 assists.

Thompson Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Berthoud, they pushed their record up to 14-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Thompson Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Northridge on the 9th. As for Berthoud, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Timnath on the 9th.
