Volleyball Game Preview: Highline Pirates vs. Interlake Saints + How To Watch

The Highline Pirates will square off against the Interlake Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Highline will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Highline proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past Tyee 3-2. The game was the first time the Pirates have beaten the Titans on their court since September 14, 2022.

Highline took Tyee into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-17, 25-18, 20-25, 15-7.

Meanwhile, Interlake unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against Newport - Bellevue, falling 3-0. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Interlake's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Highline, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

Everything went Highline's way against Interlake in their previous matchup back in September, as Highline made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Saints have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
