Barron won against St. Croix Falls on Tuesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Golden Bears never let the Ladysmith Lumberjacks get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Golden Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by nine runs or more this season.

Barron pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Ladysmith, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Barron will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cumberland at 5:00 p.m. The Beavers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.57 runs per game on average), something the Golden Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Ladysmith, they will challenge Chetek-Weyerhaeuser at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
