Football Game Preview: Curie Condors vs. North Lawndale Phoenix

The Curie Condors will head out on the road to challenge the North Lawndale Phoenix at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Curie's defense has only allowed 11.3 points per game this season, so North Lawndale's offense will have their work cut out for them.

While Curie's win against Mather wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Condors skirted past the Rangers 30-28. The victory was familiar territory for the Condors, who have now won three contests in a row.

Meanwhile, North Lawndale ended up a good deal behind Prosser on Friday and lost 30-16.

Curie's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for North Lawndale, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Curie ended up a good deal behind North Lawndale in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, losing 24-6. Thankfully for the Condors, Aaron Robinson (who rushed for 100 yards and one TD on only five carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
