Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valor Preparatory Academy). They claimed a resounding 47-13 win over the Carolina International Comets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Owls also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Valor Preparatory Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Victoria Brumbles, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Kaizen Almanzar, who had 12 points.

Valor Preparatory Academy's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-14. As for Carolina International, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valor Preparatory Academy will challenge Covenant Classical at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Carolina International, they are taking a road trip to face off against Queen's Grant at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Queen's Grant will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Carolina International surely won't give up without a fight.
