Baseball Recap: West Liberty Comes Up Short

West Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marion Wolves. The contest marked the Comets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

West Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Marion, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolves beat West Liberty by a score of 5-3 later that day.
