North Rowan is a perfect 3-0 against Albemarle since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cavaliers will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m.

North Rowan is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering North Stanly just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 35-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets. While the Cavaliers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Comets 14-7 in the first quarter.

North Rowan might have lost, but man, Jo Jo Tarver was a machine: he rushed for 44 yards and one score, and also picked up 36 receiving yards and one TD. Dyaon Norman- Jackson also helped out with an impressive 92 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Albemarle beat Union Academy 31-24 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won five in a row.
