Meanwhile, Corpus Christi Moody also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Gregory-Portland on Friday, falling 13-0.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Corpus Christi Moody, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Everything went King's way against Corpus Christi Moody in their previous matchup back in January, as King made off with a 6-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for King since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
