Softball Recap: Carrizo Springs Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Carrizo Springs's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Pearsall Mavericks on Friday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Mavericks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Carrizo Springs' loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Pearsall, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Carrizo Springs is set to square off against their familiar foe Floresville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pearsall will challenge rival Pleasanton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
