Baseball Recap: North Lakes Academy Takes a Loss

North Lakes Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-6 to the Spectrum Sting. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sting this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 last Saturday.

North Lakes Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Spectrum, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-3.

Coming up, North Lakes Academy will head out to take on St. Paul Academy-Summit at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Spartans have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Spectrum, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 4-1 defeat against Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg on the 17th.
