Volleyball Recap: Staley Takes a Loss

Staley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Truman Patriots. Staley's offense was headlined by Jaden Monroe and Hanna Klein, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Madi Brewer and her three assists. Finally, Naima Makachia kept Staley's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Staley's defeat dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Truman, they pushed their record up to 28-4-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home.
