Basketball Game Preview: Lakeview Vikings vs. Clarkson/Leigh Patriots

The Lakeview Vikings and the Clarkson/Leigh Patriots will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Lakeview will be strutting in after a win while Clarkson/Leigh will be coming in after a defeat.

Lakeview will head into Thursday's contest on the come-up: they were handed a 20-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-40 victory over Wayne.

Meanwhile, Clarkson/Leigh entered their match against Battle Creek on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The game between Clarkson/Leigh and Battle Creek didn't end well, with Clarkson/Leigh falling 53-37.

Lakeview's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Clarkson/Leigh, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-5.

Lakeview lost to Clarkson/Leigh at home by a decisive 48-30 margin when the teams last played back in December of 2023.
