Baseball Recap: Jefferson County Comes Up Short

If Jefferson County was feeling good fresh off their 19-9 takedown of FAMU DRS on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers lost 15-0 to the Hamilton County Trojans on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-6 on March 5th.

Jefferson County has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season. As for Hamilton County, their record now sits at 11-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson County will welcome Gadsden County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hamilton County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort White at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
