Basketball Game Preview: Victory Christian Academy Knights vs. Olympian Eagles

The Victory Christian Academy Knights will face off against the Olympian Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Victory Christian Academy lost to Montgomery at home by a 58-44 margin. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 176th, while the Aztecs are ranked 11th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Olympian). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat St. Joseph Academy 83-49. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Victory Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Olympian, they pushed their record up to 21-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
