Volleyball Game Preview: Centauri Falcons vs. Sanford Mustangs + How To Watch

Centauri is on a seven-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Sanford is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Falcons will welcome the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Centauri's victory against Montezuma-Cortez wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Panthers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted against the Panthers since September 25, 2021.

Centauri took Montezuma-Cortez into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 23-25, 22-25, 16-14.

Meanwhile, Sanford earned a 3-1 win over Buena Vista on Saturday.

Sanford's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Centauri, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.
