Baseball Recap: South Eugene Comes Up Short

South Eugene lost against Sprague back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Axe lost 9-2 to the Olympians. The Axe have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Eugene saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Roadman, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

South Eugene's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sprague, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Eugene will challenge Grants Pass at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sprague, they will take on Cleveland at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Olympians are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
