Metro Tech is 8-1 against Carl Hayden Community since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Knights will head out to square off against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Metro Tech not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on North Canyon with a sharp 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Carl Hayden Community, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past Central 3-0 on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 25-21.

The win got Metro Tech back to even at 9-9. As for Carl Hayden Community, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Everything went Metro Tech's way against Carl Hayden Community in their previous meeting back in September, as Metro Tech made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
