Soccer Recap: North Platte Takes a Loss

North Platte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pius X Thunderbolts. That's two games in a row now that North Platte have lost by exactly two goals.

North Platte's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Pius X, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. North Platte is set to challenge their familiar foe Gering at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pius X will take on rival Standing Bear at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
