Softball Recap: Loris Takes a Loss

The Loris Lions didn't have quite enough to beat the Hanahan Hawks on Monday and fell 3-2. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caitie Black was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jaci Griffin, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

Loris' defeat dropped their record down to 15-13-1. As for Hanahan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Loris nor Hanahan have any future games scheduled.
