Football Game Preview: Tri County Northeast Wolfpack vs. Homer Knights + How To Watch

The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack will head out to face off against the Homer Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tri County Northeast will be strutting in after a victory while Homer will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Tri County Northeast needed a bit of extra time to put away Wakefield. They snuck past the Trojans with a 26-20 win. The Wolfpack haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Tri County Northeast's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Thatcher Lamp led the charge by rushing for 128 yards, while also throwing for 66 yards and two touchdowns. Those 128 rushing yards gave Lamp a new career-high. Braxten Sebade also helped with two TDs in total.

Meanwhile, Homer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against Wisner-Pilger, falling 56-12. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Tri County Northeast will have to contain Steve Harris as he made an impact in Homer's last game. He picked up 101 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Homer's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Tri County Northeast, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Everything came up roses for Tri County Northeast against Homer when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 50-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolfpack since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
