Soccer Game Preview: Bristol Central vs. Avon

The Bristol Central Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Avon Falcons at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Bristol Central turned things around against Bloomfield on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Warhawks a 5-0 shutout. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Bristol Central's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Avon sidestepped Conard for a 1-0 win. Avon haven't had any issues with Conard recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Bristol Central's record is now 6-4. As for Avon, their record now sits at 7-4-1.

Bristol Central might still be hurting after the 5-1 defeat they got from Avon in their previous meeting back in October of 2023. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
