ADAMSVILLE, Tenn. -
Adamsville (Tenn.) snapped the five-game winning streak of
Forrest (Chapel Hill, Tenn.), with a 26-7 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Jacob Wallis in the first quarter, the Cardinals were up 19-7 at the half.
Forrest's only touchdown came on a pass in the second quarter.
Adamsville went into the matchup giving up only 16.1 points per game.
The loss comes after Forrest defeated Riverside 23-20 last week. The win brought Adamsville's winning streak to three games.
