Baseball Game Preview: Chamberlain Storm vs. King Lions

The Chamberlain Storm will head out on the road to challenge the King Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Chamberlain has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while King will arrive with three straight wins.

Chamberlain fell victim to Bloomingdale and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 11-0 to the Bulls.

Meanwhile, King got themselves on the board against Hillsborough on Thursday, but Hillsborough never followed suit. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Terriers, sneaking past 2-0. That's two games straight that the Lions have won by exactly two runs.

The result came thanks to Owen Leever's shutout, as he gave up just three hits and racked up 13 Ks. Those 13 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

King's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Chamberlain, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-17.
