Soccer Recap: College Station Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, College Station has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They fell 4-2 to the Lake Creek Lions on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly two goals.

Anthony Peacher and Tomas Dominguez scored both of College Station's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

College Station's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Lake Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Brenham the next time they take the pitch. Lake Creek will host Brenham at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while College Station will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th.
