Volleyball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Ellington + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rockville, Ellington was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Enfield Eagles. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory didn't come easy: Enfield scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 18-25, 26-24, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Enfield still got an impressive performance from Sam Hart, who had 13 digs and one assist.

Ellington pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Enfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coming up, Ellington will take on East Windsor at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Enfield, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Minnechaug Regional on the 24th.
