Baseball Game Preview: Lyman Hall Trojans vs. Hamden Green Dragons

The Lyman Hall Trojans are taking a road trip to challenge the Hamden Green Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Lyman Hall will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Lyman Hall got the win against Rockville by a conclusive 9-2. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Hamden and Sheehan, and Sheehan kept the tradition alive. The Green Dragons fell just short of the Titans by a score of 8-6 on Wednesday.

Lyman Hall's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1. As for Hamden, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4-1.

Lyman Hall took their win against Hamden in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 7-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
