Soccer Recap: Mica Mountain Comes Up Short

Mica Mountain lost against Ironwood Ridge back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mica Mountain Thunderbolts fell 2-0 to the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks. The Thunderbolts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mica Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Ironwood Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Mica Mountain will be playing in front of their home fans against Walden Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Walden Grove's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Mica Mountain's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Ironwood Ridge, they will venture away from home to face off against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
