Soccer Recap: Normal University Takes a Loss

Normal University lost against Dunlap back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pioneers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Normal University haven't been shut out since back in August.

Normal University's loss dropped their record down to 10-8-3. As for Dunlap, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2-2.

Looking ahead, Normal University will be playing at home against Peoria Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Normal University will need to watch out since Peoria Christian have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests. As for Dunlap, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Morton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dunlap's defense better be ready for this one: Morton have averaged an impressive 3.2 goals per game this season.
